This month in honor of Rotary's October theme: Community Economic and Development, we will be meeting with Cathy Kernan who is Council President of Collegeville Borough. Cathy will give us an update on the changes coming to Main St. Cathy is also the president of the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) which is an all-volunteer non-profit that works to promote local businesses, and sponsors numberous Collegeville family-friendly events including Dinner & a Show with the Ursinus College Theater Department and local restaurants, the Community Memorial Day Parade and many other events. Cathy also  sits on the Collegeville Rotary's Annual Halloween Parade Committee.

Janet Kolepp, Bethlehem Morning Star Rotarian, will provide an overview of the amazing work accomplished in a two-week trip by a group of Women in Action as the result of a Rotary Global Grant in Kenya in November 2022. She shared how this experience had changed her for the better. The presentation highlighted the Rotary story of how we can connect, identify community needs and utilize grants to provide services and resources that change lives and communities in Kenya now and in the future. #District7430 #rotaryfoundation #globalgrant #PeopleOfAction

What is the Rotary Leadership Institute of Northeast America?

The Rotary Leadership Institute is not an official training program of Rotary International.

The Rotary Leadership Institute of Northeast America includes the original area where the International RLI was founded in 1992. It now includes 21 districts in the northeastern part of the USA and Bermuda. 

Clubs and districts looking to train Rotarians as leaders at local levels can now access online a wide array of resources developed by the International RLI. The institute offers a training program in three full-day sessions, followed by graduate seminars. Faculty are carefully selected from among Rotarians with outstanding leadership abilities, prepared to conduct innovative participatory course sessions.
