Congratulations, David, Mary, Doug and Joe, on your Paul Harris Fellow recognition!
The August Club Meeting was an especially meaningful evening for the Collegeville Area Rotary & Foundation as we recognized four of our members for their commitment to The Rotary Foundation.
David Kaplan, Mary Cook, Doug Cook and Joe Greenwald were presented with Paul Harris Fellow recognition pins and certificates during the meeting.
Named in honor of Rotary's founder, Paul Harris, the Paul Harris Fellow recognition is one of Rotary's longstanding traditions. Established in 1957, it recognizes individuals whose contributions — or contributions made in their honor — reach $1,000 or more in support of The Rotary Foundation.
Those contributions help The Rotary Foundation support projects and programs that allow Rotarians to make a difference in communities around the world.
For our club, however, this recognition is also an opportunity to celebrate the commitment of our own members. David, Mary, Doug and Joe have each demonstrated their support of Rotary and its mission of service.
We are proud to recognize all four of them and thank them for their continued commitment to Rotary and to Service Above Self.
Congratulations, David, Mary, Doug and Joe, on your Paul Harris Fellow recognition!
