Collegeville Rotary Hosts First-Ever “Coffee with a Cop” – A Huge Success!

The first Collegeville Rotary “Coffee with a Cop” event was a tremendous success, bringing community members and local law enforcement together for meaningful conversation over coffee.

Held in a warm and welcoming setting, this new initiative provided a relaxed atmosphere where residents had the opportunity to meet with members of the Collegeville Police Department, ask questions, share concerns, and build stronger relationships within the community. Chief John Barnshaw and his team were present, engaging in open dialogue and fostering trust and transparency—one cup of coffee at a time.

The event drew a great turnout of local residents, business owners, and students, all eager to connect with those who serve and protect our town. Collegeville Rotary was proud to host this collaborative event, emphasizing our mission of “Service Above Self” by creating opportunities for engagement, understanding, and unity.

Based on the overwhelming positive response, “Coffee with a Cop” is just the beginning. Plans are already underway to make this a recurring event, continuing to bridge the gap between citizens and law enforcement in a spirit of community and cooperation.
