September is shaping up to be an exciting month for Collegeville Rotary, filled with opportunities to connect, learn, and make a difference — both locally and globally.
Whether you’re a longtime member, a prospective Rotarian, or simply curious about our work, there’s something for everyone this month.
We’re kicking things off on Tuesday, September 9th, with our Rotary Means Business Luncheon at Turning Point Restaurant at 11:30 AM. This gathering is a great opportunity for professionals and community leaders to come together, share ideas, and explore ways to collaborate in making a positive impact. Over lunch, you’ll have the chance to network with like-minded individuals while learning more about Rotary’s initiatives and community involvement.
Then, on Wednesday, September 10th, join us for an inspiring Collegeville Rotary Club Zoom Meeting featuring Dr. Priyanka Patkar, Rotarian and representative of Freshwater Project International. Dr. Patkar will highlight the incredible work being done in Malawi, where the organization has successfully brought running water to 100% of health care facilities in the Zomba District. She’ll also share details about their 2025 WASH in Schools campaign, which focuses on clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, and features Malawian soccer star Temwa Chawinga as ambassador. This session is a powerful reminder of how Rotary partnerships fuel global change — and how we can be part of that impact.
Finally, we wrap up the month with the Collegeville Rotary Connect Night Mixer on Wednesday, September 24th, at 6:30 PM on the patio at Chadwick’s Restaurant. This relaxed and welcoming evening is the perfect chance to connect with fellow professionals, community members, and Rotary leaders. PLUS! We will hold the induction ceremony of our newest Rotarian, Kim Miller. Come enjoy great conversation, make new connections, and learn how Rotary is helping to strengthen our community through service and leadership.
