Collegeville Rotary is proud to share exciting updates on our partnership with the Perkiomen Valley School District in support of environmental education and stewardship. This spring, our club is helping expand and enhance the district’s two school-based arboretums, unique outdoor learning environments that bring nature directly into the hands of students.Perkiomen Valley is the only K-12 school district in the world with two designated arboretums, known collectively as Lenape Arboretum at PV Woods. These spaces are more than gardens—they are living classrooms where students explore science, sustainability, and the beauty of the natural world.
Through a District Grant, the Environmental Sustainability Team at PV is creating a new Outdoor Environmental Learning Center, and Collegeville Rotary is honored to be the lead club administering the grant. Our involvement includes supporting the planting of native species, assisting with summer maintenance, and helping to develop a new environmental storybook trail, a creative and interactive way to blend literacy and environmental awareness.
Due to recent construction delays, the official dedication of the Storybook Trail has been rescheduled.

Following the dedication, head over to the PV Art & Food Truck Festival, taking place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the Main Campus. Enjoy local art displays, delicious bites from food trucks, and more community fun!
This project is a shining example of how Rotary connects people, resources, and passion to make a lasting impact.
