Something special is coming to Collegeville this Veterans Day.
The Collegeville Area Rotary & Foundation is preparing to launch Salute to Service, a new community tribute honoring the men and women who have served our country.
Community members, families, and local businesses will have the opportunity to sponsor an American flag in honor or in memory of a veteran or active-duty service member. Together, the flags will create a special display, with each one representing a name, a story, and someone whose service deserves to be remembered.
The display will be part of a Veterans Day ceremony, bringing our community together to recognize those who served, remember those we have lost, and thank the veterans who continue to be part of our community.
Plans for the location, flag sponsorships, and ceremony are being finalized now.
