One week ago, we shared the difficult decision to conclude Collegeville Area Rotary & Foundation's stewardship of the Collegeville Halloween Parade after more than 70 years.
Since then, we've been humbled by the outpouring of support, memories, and kind words from so many members of our community. Thank you to everyone who reached out, shared stories, and celebrated the generations of volunteers, sponsors, participants, Borough officials, public safety personnel, businesses, and Rotarians who helped make this tradition so special.
We are pleased that the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), in partnership with the Collegeville Borough, will continue this beloved community tradition. We wish them every success as they begin this new chapter and know the community will continue to support the parade for years to come.
As for Rotary, our mission has never been defined by a single event.
Our focus now turns to expanding the impact we make through service projects, scholarships, environmental initiatives, youth programs, community partnerships, and new fundraising opportunities that will benefit the communities we proudly serve.
