Perkiomen Stream Cleanup a Success

Each year, Collegeville Rotary partners with the community to take part in the Perkiomen Stream Cleanup, and this year’s effort was nothing short of inspiring. With the cleanup focused at our usual First Avenue location, we once again found ourselves astonished by the amount of debris pulled from the waterway. From flood-washed items to improperly dumped trash, the need for stewardship of our local environment remains clear.

A special and heartfelt thank you goes out to Seth for an outstanding job leading this initiative. From organizing supplies to coordinating volunteers, Seth handled every detail with care. In true Rotary spirit, when gloves were unexpectedly missing from the supply box, Seth didn’t hesitate, he quickly solved the problem and made sure everyone had what they needed to get to work.

It’s moments like these that highlight the power of community action and Rotary’s commitment to service above self. 

Thank you, Seth, for your leadership and for everything you do for Rotary. And thank you to all who joined in to make our streams cleaner, safer, and more beautiful for everyone. We’ll see you at the next one — let’s keep making an impact together!
